Ronda, Cordoba and Seville, in Southern Spain.

On my way from Algeciras, near Gibraltar, My friend and i took the highly recommended train journey to Ronda. Beautiful scenery on route. Ronda has a population of about 35,000, in the Province of Malaga, which is 40 miles away. There are buses from Malaga to Ronda. On arrival in Ronda we saw a small hotel to stay one night. The most spectacular part of Ronda is the deep Gorge , crossed by Puenta Nuevo the bridge in the centre of the City. The Gorge is 120 metre (390 ft) deep ,a chasm of the Guadalevin river. The Gorge divides the City in two. ( The first four pictures in this Blog were lost in the computer, so i took photo of
my photos, if you understand what i mean. )----Leaving Ronda we took the train to Cordoba.
nights in Cordoba. Cordoba has the highest temperatures in Spain. Average 37*C
99F. in July. We were glad it was the end of February. The city is Moorish
architecture, with the Mezquita- Cathedral standing out. It is a Mosque/Cathedral. The nearest commercial Airport is Seville 110km away.
- Took the train to Seville, taking 45 minutes, stayed two nights in a hotel.
The population of Seville is 690,000 on the Guadalquivir river. -- The cathedral is
St Mary, a RC church. high.] -------- I'll keep looking for my missing photos.
